Record, review, repeat
A transition that felt smooth often turns out to be two basslines fighting for eight bars. You can't hear it while you're doing it, and you can't miss it a day later.
The same applies to production. Projects stall because nobody hears the arrangement as a listener would; a bounce played in the car answers more questions than another hour of tweaking a hi-hat.
So every program here runs on recordings and timestamped notes, and on a small number of deliberate changes rather than a long list of things to think about.
